Brand new to Ford Diesels. I have owned many VW diesels and I'm looking for a crew cab 7.3 Powerstroke for an interstate cruiser. I'm wondering if it's practical to convert a dually to a single rear wheel truck. Many of the manual shift dual wheel vehicles must have been used only for occasional towing and there a decent number of them with low miles.in great shape. Any thoughts? I'm trying to avoid the 6.0 and 6.4 engines.

While I have the 6.0 there`s been no problems yet, so far I`m very happy with my 05 F350 Crew.
Swing by and post your intro in the local KY chapter soon: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum151/
