2009 Fords what have you been paying?
I am seriously considering buying a 2009 blue FX4 supercab. the list price is 35854 dealer is giving me 2500 dollar rebate and then 10500 for my 2003 regular cab Hemi 4x4 72000 miles in PERFECT condition.

If they are willing to give you that for the Dodge I would take it to get out from under it. You can buy a Brand new Dodge with power options in the crew cab 2 wheel drive for 16K in the Houston area and probably cheaper if they file bankrupcy.

So if they are at $22854 trade difference they are showing you an allowance of $10.5 for your truck. Probably a good deal, they are just trying to make you feel better about the $7k they are actually giving you for your truck and discounting the new one the $3500 difference. Either way, it is your money and if you feel good about it, go for it!
