'05 F-250 - 5.4L -- Speedo Dead
Buddy of mines truck...
Its a 2005 F-250 with 5.4L, 4x4
Said lately a couple of times his speedo has dropped to ZERO then eventually come back to life...does this sound like a VSS going bad on the rear diff??
He says no other lights have come on.

if the abs light would come on then more likely vss...had the same problem...i changed the vss with no change...dealer changed cluster under warranty
u can also search this forum...i have seen repeated posts about this problem and cluster has always been the problem
