Picked up my 09 XLT today
I picked up my truck this afternoon. I really love it, drives and rides great, the back up camera is great, love the front grill and really like the redesign on the tailgate, really had a lot of people slowing down on the interstate looking at it. It was dark when I got home with it, I will post pics tomorrow.
My only problem is that I ordered it with the Flint Interior, that is what is stated on my Invoice and also the Window Sticker and it appears to have the Camel Tan which is a really light color. I could probably live with that, but the dash is real dark and the glove box is the light tan, which almost looks like someone had it replaced with whatever they could find. The reason I ordered the truck was to be sure I got exactly what I wanted.
After waiting over 6 months for this truck I would think it would come with what I ordered. I am not going to wait for another truck, but I believe Ford needs to explain to me what happened to my grey interior.

That is the correct flint interior, it's not gray, it's more of a stone color. I too was surprised the first time I saw it.

Great news that you got it. I would have bought that up with ford when i picked up the truck and tryed to get more money off. When i ordered mine i thought it had black interior and even on the web site to date it shows a black interior but it comes with a dark brown leather what is fine with me but would have been nice if they told you what colour it really is. If i find one thing not right with my truck there's going to all hell break loose. I def didnt wait 6 months for a truck with stuff i dont want or didnt get. Post up some pics asap.
Page 15 of the 2009 F-150 order guides tell you right there that the seats are Sienna Brown and the rest of the interior will be black, dash, carpet etc...

Yeah i know that now but the web site and dealers need to be updated about the colour not being black and it turned up with brown and not black and i hated brown then im sure there would be problems. But im not to worried about. Just be nice for it to turn up at this point.

All I am going by is that my 06 had the Flint (which was the med grey) and I ordered Flint Grey and the Ford Build a Truck site shows it as being called Stone Grey which looks alittle darker grey, then what is in the 06. There is another choice of a Camel Tan. Window sticker and Invoice show it as being called FLINT

Iwish i would have waited to order my truck, with book in hand. i would have known billboard mirrors come standard max tow. i should know i usaually know more about the trucks than most salesmen. case in point whent to another dealer to look at an 09 and he came out and asked if i wanted that truck, i told him i had ordered a truck already. he asked which one i saiad a platinum he then asked if it wwas a supercrew or a supercab? it only comes in a supercrew i told him, he kind of gave me a dirty look and went back inside. but i digress, no more ordering before i know inside and out what im getting!!!

60 GRAND!!! WTF??? Where are you at where it is 60 grand? We were about to order one nearly identical to that one about 3 months ago and our dealership had us quoted with a roushcharger bought and installed on it for only 53k

Thats not my pics. I found them on another site. Mine was $42k fully loaded so that is a bit high. I think it's the canadian price.
