My truck has had a decent sized drip of fuel leakin from somewhere, well today I found it. Hopefully its the only place its leakin but for now its all I saw. Maybe a drop every 5 or 10 seconds. I'm not sure how to approach it though, is it something I can tighten or what? It appears to be the silver colored "nut" from what I saw. It could be the pipes threads as well but I did not see a drop from there. Its circled in the red below:
Its the filter resriction sensor ,,needs to be replaced ,or a 1/8 pipe plug & change the filter every time you change the oil ,,Which ever way you go ,,don't over tighten the replacement ,,or you will crack the housing ...
Nice pics .. that is your Fuel filter vacuum switch and it can leak. Many just use a pipe plug in its place. Mine was leaking about the same as yours and I replaced it with International #1258850 list $30.
