gt40p cylinder heads on 351w
will i run into any problems bolting on the gt40ps on my engine, do i have to worry about vavle to piston or valve to valve clearences? i plan on running these heads with a crane compu cam. the block will be stock. also do i need special headers because it seems like the spark plugs are in different locations.

You will have to bore out the bolt holes to 1/2", and you will have header issues due to the spark plug angle. P-V clearance may or may not be a problem, depends upon the cam lift and duration.

what he said...but check compression ratio the p heads were for a 302 so they are gonna raise the 351 up (what are you 8.8 stock?) on my 347 to avoid using av-gas I used a dished SRP to get me 9.5-9.7ish

conanski means the 302 uses 7/16" bolts, and the 351w uses 1/2". To the holes in the gt40ps are 7/16, which need to be bored out to 1/2" so you can run the 351w head bolts through the gt40p's.
