cylenoid wire to starter post and frame ground attaches where ? newb with issues....it ran before I changed the clutch, just didn't shift.

I would say attach the eye of the ground strap to one of the starter mounting bolts

Frame ground wire bolts to one of the three starter mount bolt holes.
