labor day/who has a 3 day weekend
anyone have a 3 day weekend, and some plans? im probably going to try something new and go fishing
of course some heinie's and some bbq as well

Self-employed. 3-day weekends just about whenever I want, and sometimes when I don't. Not to mention, sometimes I get 0-day weekends, too.
I will probably take a 3-day weekend, maybe 4, depending on how much work I have to get done. If it's 4, the family and I will be going to Indiana Beach on Friday, then Saturday, I have a friend who does fireworks shows, and he may take me to help out. Sunday and Monday I have no plans, maybe some "honey-do" items around the house.

I get three days off from my town job, although I'll have to go in at 10pm Monday. Might burn a vacation day and take Friday off as well. No plans for anything special. Plenty of stuff around here needing done, so I'll just pick something off the list and tackle that.

nope,no 3 day weekend for me....I stretched it into 4 days!! hopefully getting my 78 f100 ready to sell and start working on replacing the exhaust on the 95,has a cracked exhaust manifold,so I am putting on long tube headers. Also sunday night,there is a big deery brothers series IMCA late model race at the local dirt track,and a $5000 to win demo derby monday night. So lots of motors screaming at high rpms and indulging in plenty of adult beverages!!

Well, I've got three days off. I tried to make it four, including Friday, but, nothing doing. My 'so-called' counterpart (in another state!) is scheduled off, so, I have to be on duty.
Oh. . . and I'm 'on call', too. WTH. . . . IF the phone rings this weekend, I'll be on the BIG clock! (Double time and a half.) Minimum 5 hours, even if it's just to answer the phone. (And I can do that from anywhere that I have wireless service!)

3 day weekend.....what's that? I have not had one of those is 20 years. I will be working all three days over Labor Day. I my business you grow to HATE weekends and holidays. Works still needs to be done but no help to do them except me. You have to love what you do to work 60-70 days in a row before talking a day off.
