03 F-150 using too much fuel and has no acceleration

This truck (an 03 F-150) is using too much fuel and won't accelerate very well. Does fine in town but lacks acceleration to go on the highway. HELP? Any info will be helpful, thanks.

If it's dumping too much fuel into the system, it will ruin the cats. I would check the pressure in the fuel system.

I'm no great diagnostician but I would think more info is necessary. What size engine, what do you mean by "too much fuel", what's your mileage, is it at all speeds or just high speeds, have you checked vacuum and such, how many miles on it? Stuff like that would get you more replies.

There are a bunch of different sensors and things I have read about on here that all have different effects. With the added info, one of the really good mechanics on here can probably get you headed in the right direction.
