Clutch Suggestion
The tranny on my Mazda B4000 '94 4x4 pick-up has been making some bad noises (ratcheting sound is heard when engine breaking) so I'll be taking the tranny off to get it fixed. While I have the tranny off, I was thinking it might be worthwhile to replace the clutch. My truck is at 170k and I bought it used, so I have no idea whether the clutch has been replaced in the past and how many miles might be on it.
I looked up different clutch kits. I'm not sure which brand to go with: Sachs, Valeo, Exedy, or Beck Arnley. I know of Centerforce and Hays, but I'm not looking for anything spendy. I just want something reliable. Suggestions?

clean, use sand blaster and paint to make all look like new......
It is funny, but my old A4LD was really bad (no 2nd, no reverce, bad valve body, no good disk ore band inside...) but I sold it for $150.... and swap it to 5st....

I got my clutch from Advance Auto, it was a LUK unit, and when I removed my stock clutch from my '99, it was a LUK. Also replaced the slave cylinder, and I have had absolutely no issues with it. I did not seem to have any trouble bleeding the slave as I have read on other posts.

I went ahead and ordered an Exedy kit for $182. Comes with a replacement pilot bearing, throw out bearing, clutch plate, diaphragm spring cover, and alignment tool. Not too shabby.
