Puked With Arp's

Loaded Up The Spartan Street/race And Got On It To Punk Out A Punk In A Jetta Turbo With Coffee Can Exhaust, Should Of Seen The Look On His Face When I Let Him Catch Me After About 10 Truck Lengths. Had Arp's, Headgaskets, Egr And Oil Cooler And New Icp Sensor Installed About Two Months Ago, No Sign Of Puking With The Gen Econo Or Aggr/street/econo, But I Puked Some After 5-6 Hard Stomps With This File Its The Only One That Keeps The Egr Off Any Ideas Or Should I Get Ready To Block Of Egr Cooler Up Pipe. Any Help.

The egr system should be blocked off. I would see if your heads need machining or replaced totally. The only reason that I know that you would still puke after having put studs in is that the heads are in bad shape.

Thanks For Info, I Was Aware Of Checking Heads And Deck For Being True An They Were, I Visited My Tech ,a Personal Friend At Ford And He Showed Me And I Checked My Self. Time To Block Of Egr Can I Use The Plate Style Or Do I Have To Weld Shut Both Ends Of Up Pipe, since I Have A Early 04/03 Build. Any Guidance Would Be Apriciated I Want To Keep My Truck And Want To Do It Right Without Risking Major Failure Down The Rode. I Dont Think So But Could It Be The File ? I Will Reload Other Tunes To See If Theres Any Signs Of Pucking. Thanks In Advance.

Brad No Sneeky Pipe Installed I Saw Them On Elite's Site, Could I Just Put The Plate In ,or Am I Asking For Trouble, You Still Using The Banks Stuff With Your Sct3 If So Any Problems. Anywhere Else I Should Look For Parts For Blocking The Egr Cooler Flow

Getting the Sneaky pipe just makes it easy. You can modify the stock up-pipe and get the same results. I see that you have a 2003, so the Uppipe doesn't have the EGR scoop in it, so a blocker plate should be fine. Liberator performance makes a complete EGR delete, kinda pricey for me. Blocking the 1500 + deg temps from going into the EGR cooler is the Most important part. The hot gasses deteriorate the coolers solder from the heat and pressure, especially when running hot tunes. This can and often lead to cooler failure. I left the cooler in place and used the sneaky pipe. So far so good.
Yes, I have the Banks Six-Gun in place. I leave it on level 1 (bypass) and simply use it for gauges. I am able to leave the Banks wired up while I load/flash the SCT. Not a single glitch with any of the electronics to date. Good luck ~Brad

Thanks Brad, Think Im Going The Blocker Plate Route, Please Tell Me I Dont Have To Take The Heads Off? And Does This Affect The Oil Cooler In Any Way Its Brand New Along W/ The Crappy Design Egr Cooler. (p.o.c) Ditto On Banks On 1 Just For Gauges Has Worked For Me Too, Except I Pulled 2 Wires Out Of Speed Loader By Accident So No Pyro/boost Gauges Hope To Fix Both At Same Time. Thanks Again. By The Way Whose 165cc Are U Running Any Issues

The heads don't have to come off for any EGR work. I lot of other crap has to come off for the EGR delete but the sneaky pipe/blocker plate is all external.
I use Elite's Injectors. I needed them fast since my truck was already being worked on. The larger sticks are an Awesome addition. Big improvement in throttle response, and power all around. Truck runs so smoooth now. Almost effortless. I do have an issue with the injectors not wanting to idle down properly. Im kinda getting used to it, but it is the only problem I have. ~Brad

Your spot on there. Those and the turbo are the best investment that I made on the truck, came in real handy today when I was hauling trees.

Zman. I am not being picky but captalizing every word really makes it hard for me to read your posts.

I am really interested in finding out what the problem is with your truck.
