Unless you plan on turning it up to 500HP the stock intake filter flows good. Money is better spent on other upgrades.

You have to wonder about an outfit that advertises Diesel Air Intakes and claim they can improve your "gas mileage"

Also on the Duramax and Dodge, the intakes do appear to live up to the claims of drawing cooler air from outside the engine compartment. On the Ford, not so much.

From what I've heard Amsoil makes an excellent filter, way better than what K&N offers. Injen stuff is pretty nice looking (I had one on my old 98 Eclipse GST, really made some sweet turbo noise), but the price tag on that puppy is down right painfull.
