302 mariage to a 46 1/2

this is were I need to be . Can any body tell me If you can flip the oil pan .sucktion screen ,on a 69 302?in other words move the resevior to the rear,as well as pick-up? the c/e cross member #aso5o8 is working well other than a pan drain clerance issue.I flipped the member to save the original steering gear moving the xmber fore ward just enough to be a problem, other wise the engadgement is on.

Look at newer model 302 engines. There is one that has the rear sump setup, but I can't recall what it was. I want to say late 80's early 90's mustangs, but that seems to easy. It might have been a truck.
Anyway, go to a junk yard and do some shopping. I'm pretty sure you'll find one with a rear sump.

Try the small block V8 forum on this site. I bet someone has already figured out how to do it.
