The truck the 460 is going into is a 1978 f-250 had a 400 CI and the doner truck is a 77 f-250 that has the 460 with auto trans. I have been reading about this for over a month now searching till my eyes bleed! I have for the most part figured it out and all parts except the flywheel an clutch have been ordered. So what my questions are

clutch and flywheel for internal balanced 460

1. flywheel for a 390?

2. clutch kit for 86 6.9L deisel?

3. throw out bearing for 400?

4. pilot bearing for 460?

 

You just need a 460 flywheel and pilot bearing.
