i give up even trying to discuss anything economics wise at my college, waiting to transfer to a better one.
its a nice say and ask what you want, but if someone, like me, actually says things the instructor does not like, then i get cut off.
freedom of speech only as long as the teacher agrees with it.
i could bring this whole article in thursday and present some facts and it will be just ignored. but if someone brings in some dopey stuff like some baseball player getting money, then they will discuss it the entire time in class about the econmics of an actor or sports player getting money.
but anything that really has an effect, like wholesale inflation, devaluing dollar, etc...it is ignored.
don't know how it relates to the subject here, just had to get it off my chest.
Sorry... but it reads like editorial, not factual news. If the guy were to write it without name calling and opinion written as fact he'd have more creditiblity, but his writing makes him come across as a wack-job, regardless of whether or not he's right. He's win more people over if he wrote like a reporter.
Much better articles. Let the reader decide, rather than skewing it with titles like "Traitor", saying what someone is doing is "zeal", saying "Runaway inflation would also ensue..." as fact rather than opinion, etc.
