About three or four times a week i read a post about how someone just installed their DP Tuner chip and cannot believe the difference. ALOT of the people around here have done just that, and i thought a thread with a poll would be nice.

 

I've got Tony Wildman tunes, Once You buy it, He'll reburn the tunes as you make changes down the road for free, forever, Performance is about the same as a DP, It's a huge money saver unless you are going to leave your truck the way it is till the end of time.

The guy I bought the truck from threw it in (SuperChips). It didn't take long to figure out why. Even as a new 7.3 owner I could tell it sounded like poo and shifted like poo's brother.

 

I had Hypertech and hated it, It was a pain in the but to change programs and would always throw a error code and tell me to call Hypertech. Had to send it back twice to them for repair.

Life is good and hassle free with DP-Tuner

 

took a ride in a friends 01 with a super chip in it..it was ok..i liked it..but listening to my true friends here on FTE..and the fact i could switch on the fly..i went strait for the DP..the best part is..i e-mailed jody at 4am..he e-mailed me right back..lol never expected a return from him at 4 am..forgot to tell him something so i called him from work on my 9am break...he said it was mailed already. raced my friend in the 80E after the install and i kicked his azz...

I still remember when I first got my truck exactly a year ago and thinking about how intimidating it looked. But now I'm pretty sure there isn't a whole lot I couldn't handle, and it's all from hanging out here, working with mods, researching stuff, etc.

 

I used Hypertech first....Then switched to Superchips.
Been using DP Tuner for about 3 years now.
I'll stay with DP Tuner.

 

Diablo and edge, sold both on ebay and it paid for my Dp and gauges.

 

I jumped on the diablo predator band wagon several years ago when they were having a sale through Motorhaven (had to support the site). I drive the truck maybe 2k miles a year. Still trying to talk the wife into a MUST HAVE item for a truck I don't drive except for camping. Sure would pull better....hmmmm.

 

Superchips -> SCT flash programmer -> Bullydog 6 pos -> DP

 

in '01 Bully Dog 30hp puck(basically a 18Kmod) removed it in '04, for the Bully Dog Power Pup w/ outlook monitor(outlook monitor was absolutley unreadable because the digits always changed, and it was still a downloader, so no switch on the fly) '05, added real guages(auto meters that I did not like) '07, ISSPRO guages added and I love them, DP Tuner added why did I wait so long.

 

Went straight from stock, heard about DP from a friend of mine who had it. Another friend of mine told me Superchips was the way to go ( he sells them thats why lol), but after reading a few posts on here and seeing it in ALOT of signatures I had too...

 

I hope to soon go from stock to Dp. yah baby

 

Ts Performance to Edge Evo with edge EZ, back to Ts Performance reburn, back to Edge Evo then DP tuner. When i got the DP tuner, the edge evo was sold lol. The first time I was happy with my tuning and trans shifting was with DP tuner.
