300 cu in rebuild and POWER

I need the following information if possiable.
1. Where do I purchase a 4bbl intake and carb?
2. What year model F150's had the split exhaust manifold stock? Anyone have one for sale?
3. Who makes, the grind, the best stump pulling camshaft for this application? Should I go hydrolic, solid, or roller?
4. Is there any trick head work that I can do to make this work better? ( Like in the chevy valve enlargements and P&P)
5. Does anyone know of a stroker kit for this engine? If so which company?
Thanks for the time to answer these questions.

I have done a little upgrading of my 300 6. I don't have the answers to all of your questions... but here's what I've figured out so far. Clifford and Offenhauser make intake manifolds. The Clifford intake is a single plane intake while the Offenhauser in a dual port style (think of it as a dual plane intake). To use the Clifford Intake you must use headers (Clifford makes them). The Clifford exhaust is a split style. I have a set of the split style (no EGR or O2 pump connections) for sale... First $50 takes it. As for a carb... I run a Holley 350 2 barrel (couldn't fit a Holley 4 barrel since mine is in a van and the firewall is in the way) but Clifford says to run a 650 cfm 4 barrel with their intake and exhaust. Offenhauser says to run a Holley 390 with stock exhuast. I am switching to a Carter 550 4 barrel (it physically fits on my van) to try and get some of my cruising mileage back. I had my motor bored over .030 and had the head decked. I didn't ask about any specific head work... I only got done what I needed. I have only seen 3 styles of cams for the 300 motor.. stock and low end torque and 2500 RPM . What year is your truck as this will greatly change what you can do (from emmisions)

Let me know if you need any specific info on this...

4bbl intake. Offenhauser from JC-whitney or Jegs.
Clifford from clifford performance

split manifolds 87' and up 300-6's
CompCams, insky, crane, blueracer, many others have cams. Comp makes roller rockers and adjustable valve trane parts including lifters and vavle springs. Stay with a hydralic cam unless you want adjust the valve every 10,000 miles which is not recommended because it is a bear to keep that long valve cover from leaking. I haven't found a roller cam yet. And the guys in the welding shop at work are monkeying around with a old detroit diesel 4-71 blower and fitting it to a Offenhauser 4 BBL intake for me, just to see if it will work. I can see a Market for such a thing!
