Front fenders
I have nothing for the front sheetmetal for my 50 F1. I cant seem to find any used stuff either. I was thinking about a tilt frontend but I dont hear anything good about them or is this just the 53 and newer ones? If I piece together a fiberglass front end where can I get the inner fender supports?

There's one fender support on ebay right now - type 1948 ford truck in the general category - not ebay motors - and you'll find it on the first page.

Do you mean the inner fenders? No one repro's the stock ones as far as I know. If you mean the supports that attach to the radiator support and the outer edge of the fender, I believe I have a pair off a '51, should be the same. Those aren't really necessary for fiberglas fenders, tho. The 'glass fenders have no where to attach to them so you have to glue a wooden block in.

Does Greyhound still ship freight? They were a great way to ship bulky but light items like FG fenders at much lower prices compared to truck freight.

I box everything I send by Greyhound. Fenders usually cost about $80-$100 to ship from CA to the midwest or east coast by Greyhound.
Have never had a problem them being damaged, because they're boxed.
