I have nothing for the front sheetmetal for my 50 F1. I cant seem to find any used stuff either. I was thinking about a tilt frontend but I dont hear anything good about them or is this just the 53 and newer ones? If I piece together a fiberglass front end where can I get the inner fender supports?
Do you mean the inner fenders? No one repro's the stock ones as far as I know. If you mean the supports that attach to the radiator support and the outer edge of the fender, I believe I have a pair off a '51, should be the same. Those aren't really necessary for fiberglas fenders, tho. The 'glass fenders have no where to attach to them so you have to glue a wooden block in.
There's a guy on the Ford Barn adverting the following:

Does Greyhound still ship freight? They were a great way to ship bulky but light items like FG fenders at much lower prices compared to truck freight.
Yes, they do, not as cheap as they used to be, and handling is always a concern. I've shipped steel fenders with them and it appeared they'd been handled pretty roughly (they weren't cherry to begin with). If they could be boxed it would help (I shipped them bubble-wrapped). Cost was around $40 apiece for ABQ to Milwaukee a couple years ago.
