I have a 59 F100 that is in the beginning of some upgrades. I am attempting to keep the truck original looking but putting some modern technology into the safety areas such as brakes. I recently came across a site on an "Electric High Power Master" Brake system by ABS Power brakes. Has anyone used this setup in the past or have any information regarding it?
I was going to stay with the stock master cylinder at first (cause I hate the huge brake booster) but this looks like a great alternative to me.
I appreciate any info you might have regarding this.

your lines and stuff better be up too snuff !! mechmgcn as well as some of the rest of us truck drivers can tell you electric assist / hydraulics work well when kept up . most of your medium duty straight trucks use it and they do a darn fine job of bringing things to a halt . i myself when the time comes am going to upgrade the brakes on my 53 and have been considering this myself , but i'm not for sure . oh and yeah i beleive it puts out like 1800 p.si. in those systems . memory 's fsding a wee bit but look it up i'm sure the info is out there .
