Empty weight

Empty weight
I was trying to get a new ownership and register it in my name. Since the truck did not come with one I had to have a bill of sale, appraisal and a sworn affadavit from a lawyer! I collected all those and they still need the trucks empty weight? Anyone have a clue where I can find it? Or even what it is? I looked on one site and it said 3050 lbs, Is that right? Can I find a document that I can print to take with me to the Ministry of Transportation?

tims47ford..welcome to the boards. When I had my '46 1/2 ton weighed, empty, I was right around 3000 lbs, so yes, 3050 is about right. Depends on how full gas tank is, and any equiptment is on it. Maybe you can take it to a local public weigh scale and have them weigh it for you? That's how we have to do it here in California.
