2000 7.3L Turn signal fuse keeps blowing

I have a sweet 2000 Crewcab 7.3L Diesel. Two days ago, I noticed the turn signals weren't working and found the 20 amp fuse (#1 position) was blown. Replaced the fuse and the lights worked again for a short time. Have gone through two more fuses. Obviously, the fuse is not the problem. Any ideas? Also, where is the flasher located?

My '02 did the same thing, started about a week after I bought it. Took the techs almost a week to find and fix the problem. After they traced all the wiring, they found that one of the connections were bare and when hitting bumps while signaling, the bare wire would contact the body and make a ground, shorting out the system. I'd suspect that it's simply a loose or bare wire somewhere - good luck finding it.

I had a similar problem ..... there was a short in the fuse box .... had to replace it.
