ABS Brakes...winter syptoms in dry...
Just replaced front calipers/pads/rotors as RF caliper had seized and
toasted rotor, etc. I shouda twigged earlier at all the black brake dust
on the rf wheel.
Previously and still now, I notice occasionally that when doing real slow
stops and easing up to stop signs, etc, I hear the abs and feel the pedal
vibrate. I thought this was a winter phenomenon only, when on ice, or
am I starting to imagine things??
This is on a 1997 Ford Explorer...

Ford ABS sensors are very sensitive, it your wheel bearings are a little loose, if you pulled on one of the ABS wires or hit one of the sensors and cracked it they will do this. Pull your codes to be sure which sensor it is first. Then you know where to look.
