Got Tested
Had to take her in for our bi-yearly emissions test today. Instead of doing the quick and dirty OBD test, they put the Exursion up on the rollers and ran the "real" one.
Hydrocarbons- standard= 2.0 mine= .10
Carbon Monoxide- standard= 30.0 mine= .30
Oxides of Nitrogen- standard= 6.0 mine= .03
I'm thinking that's not too bad for a 2001 V-10 with 70K on her.

That looks exactly like the output from my '01 V10, the one and only time it was run on the dyno...
Now with the OBD-II, they just give up and do an idle sniffer test for over 8500lbs.
The limits were 300HC and maybe 100CO... my '74 highboy w/11:1 390 and lopey cam could pass that...
