Found a 2005 V10
I didn't want a lifted truck but is the leveling kit considered a true lift kit? Does it mess with the suspensions geometry at all, wear any parts out prematurely, or am I worrying about nothing?
It has the 4.10 limited slip diff which is one of the things I really wanted. Is that enough gears for the 35 inch tires? The wheels are 18 inch wheels. Did the 2005 come with 18 inch wheels? Is that okay? I know it's the rage these days for large diameter wheels on trucks and the 2008 Fords coming with 20 inch wheels, I guess i'm old school and am used to 16/16.5 inch wheels being on heavier duty trucks.
Thanks for your input,
Aaron.
) on the 350. The rim dia doesn't mean a whole lot but yes the 05's did have an 18" option. Overall tire dia is what matters and I don't have any info on that with 4.10 and 35's since I still run stock tires on my 4x2 so I won't answer that part
The front end leveling kits are for the owners who do NOT like the nose down attitude... They realy don't mess with front end geometry enough to bother the steering or suspension...
BUT now that the beast is LEVEL when empthy and you drop a heavy load on the rear axle (like a 5er or 2 tons of sand) the headlights are riding high and ticking off those of us coming at you
