Fun with 94 escort before I junked it... PICS AND VID!!!
Allrighty, I bought this car for $150, because I needed a radio for my toronado, and this one had a nice pioneere... And I needed to fix my cousins car.
No brakes, the clutch went out a LONG time ago (put it in 5th at 30, and floor it... it'd slip hardcore), rusty, and it had 195k on it... It was time to go to the smelter
And, without further BS, here's the video
After draining all the fluids (as required by the scrapyard), had to make sure they didnt get a good motor to crush either...
Scrapped it for $147. It gave it's life to fix the heater in my cousins car, give my toronado a radio, and provide some parts for the ones out there worth driving...
Any quesions?
Rip, my 94 Escort. Yet I had you for but only a week, you got me 4 warnings (two from the same cop), drove me around for 2 days when I didnt have another car that I could drive, and fixed my couins car. May your spirit live on in the parts you have given... Amen or something
Lol, I had fun...
P.S. I'm the guy with the buzz cut and glasses. I kept the basic training haircut, it's like $5 at any barber...
Yeah, it went allright. I havent been "back" because I'm ford-less... I did buy a Geo Tracker to dink with, it's alot of fun...

O yeah, I shattered the sidewindows... So we dumped a handfull of the glass down into the crankcase, along with another handfull of lead shot.

I am not trying to rain on your thread or spread negativity but I do have a question. In your OP, you list what is going on with the car and post a pic after. However in all your pics, I click on them hoping to see a car up against a tree, in a ditch, when you cut the top off etc, but the only thing I see is people climbing all over the car. Why?
I wish I woulda had more time for better photos... It was allready almost 4pm when I got that hatch off (last part that I needed to remove), still had to drop the tank and get it there by 4:30
Sorry the pics were a let-down... Least you got to see it blow
