95 f-150 tranny problems

95 f-150 tranny problems
Tranny is the 4R70W.
We just got done doing the 5.8L swap and now we are having tranny issues.
It worked fine before the swap, the 5.0 went and the only thing we did when the tranny was out was pressure wash it.
We got everything back together with the 351 and now the tranny slips like a mother, and only goes into 3rd for a moment, then slips out and stays in 2nd with the overdrive off. With the overdrive on, itll do the same thing but it will go into OD, on the freeway it slips out of OD into 3rd every once an a while at around 55 Mph.
We checked fluid flow through the cooling lines and even reversed them. Did the lucas oil thing, and none of it helped. This is the 3rd tranny this truck has had in 250k, this was a ford reman, and was supposed to be beefed up.
It was in excellent shape before the engine swap.
We are using the 5.0 ECU so everything there is the same.
