anyone ever used a galls wig wag kit. im wondering if the controll box can be opened up (easily,i know i could probably cut it open) or is it some kind of glued/sealed together piece. id like to get one but i dont want that big 'ol box mounted under my dash. id like to open it up and do a little soldering so i can use my own toggle to turn it on and off. http://www.galls.com/style.html?asso...og&style=FS039
I have the $20 ones and love them. Been using them for over 10 yrs. One of mine has been in at least 4 vehicles.
Yes you can take them apart. The only reason I do is to replace the flasher. Only replaced one so far in the 3 units I have been running.
The next question is WHY? Would you do this for free? I get paid full-time and I am tired of it after 16 years. I would forget the wig-wags altogether!
well actually im not using them for first response or police use. i plan on hooking them to the lights on top of my cab for tractor escorting/farm use. i want to hook them up as two pairs like
