I have a 1960 Ford F-100 2 wheel drive for sale. It is in good shape and all original. It has a straight 6. I think it is a 235CI. It runs great. Even after sitting for 6 months it fires right up. Does anyone know what its worth.
What sets its value is mostly location and condition. As it does drive and can be driven as is my guess is $750 on the low end. If the cab is not rusted out and there is no major body damage I would ask $1500.
If it's pristine condition I've seen them go from $4000.00 on up to $6500.00 or so on Ebay.
Depends on the shape & how bad someone really wants one.
Heck there's a guy here in town drives a beater (and I do mean BEATER!) '59 all the time told my Dad he turned down a $6000.00 offer for it not too long ago! (If it were me, I'da sold it!).
If it was mine I would have sold it for $6,000 in a hoof beat too, around here it`s ridiculously hard to get any decent price for old vehicles...
Two years ago there was a 60 Mercury/6/standard driver for sale and some rust for $1,250, it was fairly decent except for the rust.
The engine should be a 223 unless someone did a transplant.
The 240 didn`t come out till later on, around 65 or so.

FoMoCo only installed the 223 I-6 into the F/M-series trucks, untill the 262 I-6 in '61, then the 240/300 I-6 in '65.
So it is more than likely a 223 I-6 (count the valve cover bolts & if it's an 8 count, it's a 223), unless the P.O. changed it out. By-the-by, 235 I-6s are Brand-X engines, not FoMoCo.
It all depands on condition, $50.00 (towable only), to $10,000.00 (1 owner driven on sundays only).
You need to give us a description of the condition & show us Pix of the Olde Girl before we are able to give a decent estimate.
Yep its a 223 I6. Thanks for the info. I will try to get some photos. It only had two owners. My dad bought it from a friend in 1970 and has had it ever since. It purrs so smooth. I hate to get rid of it but no room for it.
Then find something else to gett rid of & KEEP the Olde Girl for yourself.
They are one of the BEST Work trucks Ever designed & manufactured!
Cheque out my 'Gallery' for Pix of my '58 Mercury M-100.
I am looking for a 1960 F150 Panel that is for sale.
I had one back in the late 70's I gave it to my oldest son who was killed in it buy a drunk driver. I rebuilt it for and with my other son, it was a great source of healing for the two of us. Sadly It was stolen NEVER to be seen again. This Son, my last one, was killed in the first Desert Storm. I am a widower and I am raising his two son's, their mother passed away from cancer 1 1/2 years ago. I want so much to buy another for us, as the 1960 Panel was a very speical part of my sons and my life. I want to help my grandsons get past their mother and fathers death by having a project we can work on durning this trying days
Could you perhaps please tell me if \would consider selling yours to me? I would very much be interested if I could afford it. We are in Seattle Wa.
Thank you for your trouble in responding to my questions.

Budman has a F100 pickup for sale, not a panel. In addition, there were no F150s back then - only F100s and F200s and up. It was not until the 70s Ford started using the F150 badge.
Thanks, I confused the 60 with "BOB" my 80's work truck, he's the 150.
Thanks for the correction and lead to Budman. Does anyone have an email for Budman. I check His profile but since I have not been here long enough , I can't get his e mail addy.
