Hi guys, Sorry it took so long to get these posted . My computer went down and I had to replace the tower . And then my middle brother passed away last week so I have been kind of in a fog . Anyway there are some new photos of the hood flip in my gallery if anyone is interested .
The tilt hood looks great, is it a kit you bought or did you fabricate it your self, if you did would you share some measurements and any tech information. Your truck is looking really good. Now to the most important, I'm sorry to hear of your brothers passing, it's a part of life we can't avoid but are sad when it takes a loved one just the same.
John
Thanks for the kind words about the loss of my brother , He was only 57 years old. He lost his life to the legionaires disease it took less than a week and he was gone . Two funerals ( family members) in a week is a bit much .
As for the hood flip yes that was something I made in my bodyshop but not without the help of Mr Kent Boomer. His article and measurements were what got me thinking about flipping the hood on my truck . There are a few things that I am thinking about modifying in the roller area but I am very happy with the results . I am hoping to block sand the truck out this month and reprime the whole thing again . I am shooting for color to be on by late summer when the temperature is a little more favorable .
Does he have a website or any measurements that you are willing to share?? I have the "guts" off of the BMW car, but wanted more details on installation..
Hi , sorry it took so long to get back in touch.
I took his (Kent`s) base measurements and started mine . Let me know if it works . Good luck, it's not that hard if you take your time .

Reason: At Kent`s request to remove his email address.
Thanks , Yeah the truck kind of helps keep me busy lol. I was hoping to give him a ride in it . He was a good bodyman in his own right . Although he won't be with me bodily , He will be with me because there is a spot reserved on the tailgate for the In memory of .
