is it safe to run a programmer and a chip?
in the next month or so, i'm going to be dropping a little money into my 2000 f150 5.4. i'm getting jba 3" exhaust and ceramic coated ss headers, k&n intake, and diablosport predator tuner (sooner or later it will come in handy for when i lift it). but i was also looking at the jet chip. i want to be able to maximize horsepower and gas mileage. would it be putting my engine life in jeopardy if i used both the chip and programmer. the truck has 111,000 miles on it, and i don't want to be stupid and blow the motor. tell me what you think

It will be a waste of money, only one of them will be doing anything, stacking them does not add any more power. Chips aren't worth messing with anymore IMO, it is too handy to have a tuner that can read codes and change various things to the truck at your will.
