Here is what I would do:

Change your oil again w/ new filter make sure your using an approved oil ( check this site for reccomendations)
If the problem goes away again, I would start thinking about your injectors being the problem. They need the right amount of good clean oil.
Check this site for the "hot shot" oil additive that might work in your case.

change the oil with Rottela syn 5w-40
and use LUCAS upper cylinder lubricant additive in your fuel
ill bet itll solve your injector problems

last 2 oil changes done by ford . I do use the gray bottle and it doesn't seem to change anything. Thank for your help .
PS if I keep the rpm's above 3k or below 2.5k when it shifts I have no miss.

If your going to own a 6.0 PSD I strongly suggest you change your own oil and filters. As I stated before oil is critical to the 6.0, and I would not trust anybody but myself to change it. Case in point: My buddy who just had his first "free" oil change at a Chevy dealer on his new DuraMax, found out they put regular oil in it, not the diesel oil called for.So much for dealers.
