I have LEDs in my gauges and love them. They're much easier to read at night. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of them though. I put in green bulbs to closer match the stock gauges.
I got mine here: http://www.superbrightleds.com/mini-wedge.html
I literally bought and tried every one of their bulbs in my gauges, then ordered up a set of what I liked best. I went with the WLED-x5 LED Wedge Base Bulbs. The single LED wasn't bright enough, the 6 LED bulb is way too bright, and the 4 LED is ok. However, since my Autometers are backlit with the light coming in from around the rim of the gauge, the 5 LED bulbs worked best since it directs the light to the sides where it can better shine on the face of the gauge.
which bulbs should i have gotting because i think i order the same ones u have
I think you're right, and I just was thinking the first one listed was the wide angle bulb. The one with 5 LED's is what I use. The description is:
"5-LED super wide angle 194/168 wedge base bulbs
4 radially mounted 3mm LEDs emit most of the light from the sides of the bulbs
1 High Flux LED emits from the end of the bulbs - non-polarized bulbs"
I used 1 watt wide angle LED's in mine. Just have daytime pictures, but had to use a LED dimmer because they were too bright at night. I wouldn't trade them for the world. I got enough LED's to do the rest of the dash too. That's another project.
