Unhappy no power and bad millage

i have a 2001 f350 CC DRW 2WD with the 7.3 I made a 300 mile trip and only got 13.3 MPG the was with my diablo tuner on 60HP. on the way back with a 20 foot boat i decided to go back to stock. I drove it that way for about another 100 miles. i could tell the millage was getting no better and it felt like i was pulling 10,000 lbs. the truck had no go. i had to press all the way to the floor to pass on an incline. i have a small ehaust leak at the Y pipe. i am running the stock air filter case with a green filter and have removed the muffler. i have checked other threads and have cleaned the exhaust back pressure sensor tube. i could use any other help.
Thanks

Changed your air & fuel filter lately? . Throw any codes? Check all turbo and intercooler boots. Start simple and work up.

Is the truck new to you, and is the mileage different that it used to be? The leak can be minor or completely rob you of power. The mileage is a slippery critter. A lot of things fall into the "maybe will help" category but on a body that large 13 isnt out of the average. I'm happy if I get 13.

Ditto on the filters. Inadequate fuel + air flow will rob power. How many miles on the truck?

2001 f350 CC DRW //////
most duallies ive seen were 4.10 or 4.30 ring/P.
id think 13 is good with either of those sets, 3.73 average i see most is 15 to 18. but, 70 to 75 mph really sucks the fuel running over 2K rpm.

With the mods you listed you need an intake, do you have one? Exhaust next. Deffinitly gauges. Fuel filter changed? Map sensor good? Its important to watch your trans. Trans fluid should have been changed 2x at 50,000mi ea. I just had my trans built up and new TC and picked up 1mpg. I get 16 running 70-80mph, I had a Centurion SD 4x4 4dr drw that got 18 nomatter how I drove it. List everything you can we will try to get you up a bit, and help you pick your parts. Some trucks just get better mpgs than others even if they are identical. I'm sure you can do a little better. Like Bigtorqe said keep it 2k and under will make a big dif.

I gained more than 1 mpg and a lot of torque from the last fill up by fixing the leaky turbo up-pipes.

He's talking about the IC Turbo boots, Those blue flex boots need to be cleaned and tight.

I'm talking about the up-pipes between the exhaust manifold and the turbo inlet.
They were leaking somewhat, not that bad, but you could easily see the black stain and hear it hissing. There are now no exhaust leaks on my truck and WHAT A DIFFERENCE.
