2whl + 4whl c-6 transmission question
i have a 75 351w+c-6 from a 75 2whl drive that i want to put in my 78 bronco , can i swap output shaft's+tail housing's so that i can bolt the transfer case to the 2whl c-6 transmission(the bronco has a 351m+c-6)any input will help thank's

First off you need the same tranny for the same engine. A 351W has the Windsor bolt pattern for the 302 and 4.9L I-6. The 351M uses the 460 bolt pattern. For all the work you have to go through to get the right out put shafts installed in the 4wd tranny to get it in your truck, you may as well rebuild it. You have to go through all the clutch packs, reverse gear just to get to the snap ring that holds the shaft inside the trans. You have basically got it to the point you could just clean it up, and put new clutch discs in and seals. You would have an overhauled transmission that will go for longer than the transmission you put to gether out of two old ones.
