It has been a long, long time since I have owned a Ford. But, last week I drove a new 6.4 250 and was very impressed with it. I presently own a '02 Duramax with 91k and some problems are beginning to surface with some owners that I would like to avoid. Mainly wheel bearings, worn hole in transfer case, drive line vibrations, allison tranny leaking, etc. I am hoping to get some first hand info on this forum in regards to Fords having similar issues. Any input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
So Ford is the dark side?? lol! Well, just check out our forums and you will learn a lot about those trucks. Click on the Forums tab and browse over the choices. There are several good diesel forums as well as the essential Super Duty forum. Ask questions and post away!
Thanks. I just think for the money a truck costs, that it should out last the bank note without having to drop a few hundred bucks here and a few hundred there every time you turn around and still have less than a hundred thousand miles. Maybe that is just planned obsolesence by the manufacturers.
