Ram AIr Hoods vs. CAI

I would like to get opinions on the HP/Torque and MPG of Ram Air hoods versus Cold AIr Intakes.

Both will have minimum gains. You will usually get alot of water and such in the filter area with the ram-air hood. Plus a cold air kit like the one from Outlaw Power will much cheaper than a new hood.

Both camps claim increases in MPG as well as HP/Torque. Are these true?

I noticed a bit better throttle responce with my CAI. Won't know about the mileage untill the weather warms back up. The hood may help a little because it is lighter than the stock one.
