1959 F-100 4x4 VIN #

F18 = F100 4X4 = 5600 GVWR
F19 - F100 4X4 = 4000 GVWR
These are the only series codes that apply to F100 4X4's in 1959.

Note: 1959 was the first year Ford offered a F100 with 4 Wheel Drive.

Yes, I'm aware of Marmon-Harrington, I should have said what you did Colonel...1959 is the first year FoMoCo offered their own home grown factory 4X4 vehicle.
Marmon of Marmon-Harrington, is the old Marmon Motor Car Company, makers of luxury cars for nearly 30 years.

Hey my truck is a f10 number and it is a factory 4x4 1959. It has the 5600 weight stamped on there. The vin tag is on the glove box. It matches the one on the vin. By any chance where is the one on the frame stevemarandola@aol.com

The VIN is stamped on the top of the frame inside the left front wheel well. It is hard to find if there is a lot of rust and crust, and the inner fender does not give you much room. Please let me know more re. VIN #s for 59 factory 4x4.
Thanks.
Thanks.
