That is definately an interesting looking truck you have. I'm not sure, but I don't think it's a 1939. The 39's had rounded cabs and hoods.
Someone with a lot more knowledge than me will step in and be able to help you.
im not sure what u mean by the rounded cabs but there is one in the middle front of the hood
about the year on the official paper they said 1940 but there is a plate inside it where they said model 1939 and something like ford canada.
does the yellow front light mean anything? cs i heard once they used them in the war in europe to be reconized at night, but im sure they i read on a plate inside it somewhere is written"made in canada"
anyway i do remember there is somewhere inside it where i found the dark green color under ther red paint.
I'm not sure about the yellow lights. However, the linked image that I posted appears to have a maple leaf in the upper right section of the hood. And, the license plate does not look European. It might also be a Canadian vehicle.
Here is the pic of your 39 Ford. This is a Canadian Ford, being the right had drive which was built for WW11, and was used as a Military Truck.
Hope you don't mind me posting the pic of your Truck for others to see. That Truck was probably built in Windsor ON. Canada.
Gazoline, welcome to FTE. That is one very nice CMP (Canadian Military Pattern) you have there. They are important as these trucks have Military backgrounds. A collector of Military vehicles would be interested in the truck.
5star thx for posting the pic bro and thx for all of u and for ur help, well tell me what do u think if its a millitary truck when i will paint it i keep it red or turn it to dark green as a real millitary truck?
and from other side can anyone just giveme an idea about it's price?
i bought the vin number 2G23917 does it help for any specified info??dont laugh ok?hehe
thx again team
Where did you get the V.I.N. number from? Usually they were on top of the transmission, of on top of the frame rail by the steering box, or maybe on the left side, up by where the steering box would be on a left hand drive truck.
