I am in the process of installing some GT40 iron heads and a 302HO camshaft in my truck and was wondering if I will get all the gaskets I need if I order a top end gasket set for a 93 Cobra? I know there will be some gaskets that I will have to buy individually and that's fine, but I need to get all my ducks in a row before the install which hopefully will be very soon! I was told that the 93 Cobra will have the GT40 head gaskets included in the top end set, but will it have the right lower intake gasket?
Why don't you just buy the intake manifold gasket (intake to heads) from the cobra along with the regular gasket kit for your truck? It seems like those are really the only ones that are different, based on your other threads. Another thought is to give Ford Motorsport a call and see what gasket they say fits the heads you have.
Jrock, I answered this question 5 times. NO the set won't have your upper to lower intake gaskets. Your engine has a completely different upper/lower than the 93 Cobra 5.0. The reason I recommended this application is the Cobra had the GT40 heads and the same water pump as your truck. This is the difference between applications: waterpump, upper/lower intake, intake to head gasket. All other gaskets are the same for all applications.
