98 Explorer XLT panic alarm keeps going off

98 Explorer XLT panic alarm keeps going off
Hi there,
We have just bought a '98 Explorer XLT and for some reason the panic alarm goes off intermittantly for no reason whatsoever. How can I either disable the panic alarm or is it possible to troubleshoot the cause without having to take it in to the shop?
I would appreciate any suggestions!
