If you see my earlier message, I am looking for a shop manual and part number listing book to assist in restoration. I find a great deal of parts and info for Pickups but am having difficulty with Catalogs, Manuals, Etc. If you have info on any of these please reply, as I am running out of places to look. Thanks for your help, Pete
For shop manuals, try the book I had mentioned in my previous post. As for a book of part numbers, for body parts there is a book that Ford published in 1956 called "1944-52 Ford Body Parts Catalog" it includes the body parts and gives part numbers for all the different body parts, but it doesn't have any mehanical or trim. If you want a book that inlcudes chassis there is the master book of part numbers published by Ford. It's called "Ford Chassis Parts and Accessories" it's a huge book, over 800 pages. But it's also pricey at almost $100. These are the only 2 books that I have seen that have the part numbers you want. Both are available from Ford supply places like Mac's Antique Auto or Obsolete Ford Parts in OK.
