Carlene and Steve, Will we see some more pictures of your '41?
I have more pictures to post, just haven't had the time. Do taxes & accounting for a living so haven't had much time to play with the truck or computer.
Steve has one more door to fix the bottom on. That'll make 3 fixes on 2 doors - only because he did such a great job on the second one, he's redoing the 1st. After that, weather permitting, I need one more day of sandblasting and it will be ready to primer. We're wanting to get the cab & doors mounted, painted and all the glass put in so that he can start working on the wiring and I can start the interior. I did get one of the bucket seats were putting in completely recovered a few weeks ago and have the other one cut out, just haven't had that time thing working for me.
We did end up having to move the firewall back 3". He was thinking of making a new wall just using flat metal. Between my pouting and his thinking he came up with a way to use the original. The old one has too much character to just do away with it (even if it won't be seen). Steve used the orig and kinda boxed it for the move back. I blasted it last weekend so he can weld it back in some evening.
I'll post in this forum to let you know when I do update. Haven't checked your gallery in about a month or so - guess I need to see if you've updated. If not - why not?
Talk to you later.

That color on the hood is a unique Canadian color known as "Antique Canadian Suede". Just in case you wanted the same color for your truck, I enclosed the formula for mixing it. Take one part Land of the Midnight Sun, add one part Clear crystal rain, mix in slowly over a 60 year period in a freeze and thaw temperature for 6 months and bake in the summer sun for 3 months. Add a little Acid Rain for character. I recently changed that hood color to Pea Soup green etching primer.
I haven't done much this winter with moving last Fall, I had no time to get the heat put into the new shop and I have 12 vehicles and all their extra parts scattered around about 4 feet high. Still have a couple of feet of snow on the ground and the sun has been working on it for the past couple of days, we could see bare ground within the next 3 - 4 weeks. I sold another property, so I have to get my engines out of the garage before the end of March. I have a complete 5.0 ('87) with computer and AOD attached, plus 3 flatheads; 2 Mercs (4" cranks) and a 239 cu in. plus assorted heads, intakes, manifolds, flywheels, etc to move and/or sell within the next 3 weeks.
You and Steve take care. C U AL.
