FORD SCHOOLBUS

I have a Ford Schoolbus whis is titled as a 1948, But has the 1947 front clip. I need the grille, bumper, and hood moulding. I would like to know if the parts off of a pickup of the same year would be the same or if I have to try to find parts off of a heavy truck. I would like to start restoring it soon. Can anyone help?

The hood moldings should be the same for 1/2 tons up to 3 ton trucks. Which moldings are you looking for? Check out eBay, I always see lots of the die cast pieces going for really good prices. If you need the ones that say FORD on them I know a place in SoCal that usually has them for $25 for the pair. As for the grille, I'm not totally sure since the heaviest '47 I've owned was a 1 ton. I would think they would be the same, with the fenders having been the only difference between light duty and heavy duty trucks.
