help me decide
Guys, I need some help. I have my 58 ford that is one awesome project but, I have three children now and I can't bring them with me to cruise in's and the such. If anyone out there has a project car like an old wagon, odd ball 4 door, any thing that I can make a rod out of let me know. I will trade for just about anything. I have no choice, it's gotta go or I will have to sell it for way less than what I have into it. Thanks people.

there is a guy on the fordmuscle website that has a 71Torino wagon with a factory 429CJ. Auto, A/C, plus a bunch of other options.
now that would be a cool sleeper. and yes it is a real honest to goodness factory supplied wagon with a 429CJ motor. the ser# checks out as legit.
did some research and Ford sold a few 70 - 71 wagons with the 429CJ and actually a few had 4 speeds also. there is also rumors of some being sold with the 429SCJ engine in them also.
I would like to see the face of some ricer when he pulls up to light next to you with your wagon full of you, wife and 3 kids and then proceed to smoke the tires for a block.
uforetunetly he knows what it is, how rare it is, so he won't be letting it go cheap.
