I think, but not sure, the 48-52 car radio was the same or at least should fit the dash. You can research it and verify this. If they do fit the '51-52 truck you have a wider range of vehicles to look at. The radios for the newer trucks and cars are a lot easier to find than the radios for the '48-50 trucks. The radios for the '50-52 cars sell for a lot cheaper the radios for the '48-50 trucks.
