Does anyone have a cheap but good block or engine for sale my wonderfull son in law for got to put anti freeze in when he changed out the radator.

How hard did the block get frozen? Have you confirmed the heads/block cracked? On a rad changeout, I'd expect there to be some antifreeze left in the back of the block, and in the heater ( unless it was flushed?). I've had "near misses" before, could you be over-reacting? If it sat for a couple weeks below freezing before you realized the situation, well... never mind.
Well it looks like I got lucky, I put new freeze plugs in and ANTI=FREEZE and water and ranit fo an hour or so. And I let it set fo a couple of days. So far so good.
