Ok guys, I found wat looks like an early 40's short school bus, figure 40's from comparing it to some pics. Body looks in really good shape, but I cant get close enuf to really check it out. What I am looking for is any info ya'll might be able to lend me on this type of vech. I really like the look of it and would love to get my hands on it. It has been sitting on a concrete slab among about an acre of junk for years. The owner is not willing to part with anything out there, but I feel I may be wearing him down. Next time Im out that way I'll get some pics. Thanks for any info.
unfortunately no. Still looking though. Looks like you've got a good project yourself. Good luck on yours. And if I do find one I will be letting ya know.
There is a short bus outside a restaurant in Annapolis MD, called Chevy's. It looks to be about a 1952 Ford, they are using it as a billboard, sure is a shame to see it sitting, especially with Chevy's painted on the side. It does look to be in nice shape. Here's a link for their location/phone number

I know this bus well! I have driven past it on MANY occasions. Just FYI, about the only thing ford on that hulk is the body. The entire underside had a distinctivley "general" look about it. ;-)
