I had my windshield replaced after a stone hit it and when the technician from the glass company put the wiper arms back on I noticed the wiper arm on the drivers side was positioned slightly higher than what it originally was. This new position causes the arm to swing too far over to the point where it hits the trim on the post. Does anyone know how to remove the wiper arm? I can't figure out if I need a special tool or not.
Thanks!

Pop the cover off with a small flat tip screwdriver. Remove the nut. Pry the arm off the shatf. Reposition the arm onto the shaft. Reinstall the nut and the cover.
Or just call the glass company and get them to fix their mistake.
I guess there is a little tab where you insert the flathead screwdriver into. I had to pull the arm away from the glass a little which helps so you can raise the tab with the flathead screwdriver. As soon as you lower the arm again pressure is released allowing you to pull the arm off.
It actually came off pretty easily after the pressure was released. I re-positioned the arm and now it's back to normal!
