'56 weight FYI
I just weighed my 56 F 100 and thought I would pass along the results.
312 eng, fordomatic trans, stock susp with Toyota power steering and stock rear axle and spare tire.
Total weight = 3460 lbs
Front weight = 2200 lbs
Rear weight = 1260 lbs

That's almost exactly what mine weighed when I weighed it two years ago. Mine has a 351C, FMX auto and 9-inch rear. My weight was 3500# with 2200 on the front and 1300 on the rear. My bed mods have probably added 100# to the truck and moving my gas tank aft has also changed the distribution.
