I fixed mine by removing the door panel ( lots of info on this forum) removing the keypad, dismantling, and cleaning the contacts with a pencil eraser. I have a few pics that I will post for you tomorrow, but right at the moment I lack the time. It is not all that hard!
Yeah, i messed with it, must be dirty, if you push hard enough it works, kindaI had no luck getting it out. I took the screw out but cant get the keypad out.
I did the same thing. Took the keypad apart and cleaned the contacts, except I used an emory board to remove
the corrosion. (The contacts were really dirty black and green).
Works like new now.
